Born in Madrid, Spain, on July 1968, I am a self-tauch photographer and took my first photographs 33 years ago, when I was 15, with an old Zenit E. For my 17th birthday my father got me my first Nikon of many; that same year I started developing my own film at home. At present, I use mainly Canon cameras and lenses.

During the 80’s I tried several types of photography, but in the 90’s I specialized in landscape photography until 1995, when I started shooting aviation. Some of the photographers that have influenced me are, among others, George Hall, Katsukiko Tokunaga, Paul Bowen, and in Spain, fighter pilot and photographer Jose Terol, author of the book “Volando con el Ejercito del Aire”.

My biggest influence though is not an aviation photographer, but the landscape master Galen Rowell, particulary his book  “Mountain Light” and the lessons about the use of light it contains, a must read for everyone interested in photography.

Right now I enjoy the challenge of aviation photography, particularly the technical difficulties inherent to the use of low shutter speeds, or low light situations and air to air sessions, while trying to get an artistic result.

Since 2005 I am a member of ISAP, "The International Society of Aviation Photography"..In the year 2005, I associate with AirTeamImages, which is one of the most important aviation photo stock agencies. Also, since 2005, I am in charge as well, together with my frienD Javier Guerrero, of the development of the new photographic archives for the Fundación Infante de Orleáns. ....................................................................................................................................
